Drew Morrison is a writer and educator from Albuquerque, now based in Brooklyn.
Teaching
Drew is currently a high school special education teacher in the New York City DOE, where he has taught for five years. Previously, he taught Playwriting, Screenwriting, and Experimental Theater classes as an adjunct professor at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design and the University of New Mexico.
Education
He received his MFA in Dramatic Writing from the University of New Mexico, his MA in Political Science from Brooklyn College, and his MS in Education as a New York City Teaching Fellow.
Next
Drew’s currently submitting a lot of horror short fiction far and wide, and writing an episodic audio drama. He is also developing his thesis project–which critiqued the U.S. president, nuclear weapons, and American imperialism through the lens of Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey–into a book.
